This tab sets parameters for the Place function ("Placeator").

| New | create new group |
| Delete | delete the current group |

| All | select all objects in the list |
| None | cancels selection |
| Invert | inverts the selection in the list |
| Add | opens the dialog for adding objects to a group |
| Remove | deletes an object from the list |

| Low | minimum distance of an object placed by dragging the mouse |
| High | maximum distance of an object placed by dragging the mouse |
| Icon scale | cursor size, 1 = 100% |
| z-axis | objects are always left standing erect |
| face normal | objects will be rotated to accomodate the normal of the face they are on |

| X, Y, Z | rotation along individual axes |
| Rand | switches random rotation between the extremes of -n to +n |

| X, Y, Z | scale along individual axes |
| Uni | uniform scale |
| Rand | switches random scale between the extremes of -n to +n |
